Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)
The Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) is the CBP's electronic system through which the international trade community reports imports and exports and the government determines admissibility.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued an administrative message which sources state reminds the trade that all softwood lumber products that originate from British Columbia that are classified in the tariff numbers subject to the SLA 2006 export permit number requirements, must be reported using ISO Codes 'XD' for BC coastal region or 'XE' for BC interior region, regardless of whether the goods fall within the written scope of SLA 2006.
