CBP issued the following releases on commercial trade and related matters:

Lacey Act and Phase VII Implementation Webinar on Oct. 30, 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. EDT: CBP’s Office of Trade and USDA webinar will provide an overview of the Lacey Act, describe the 2008 amendments to the act covering plants and plant products and their requirements, and provide the latest updates on Phase VII of the Import Declaration Implementation Schedule (here)

Notice of Deployment of Petroleum Superfund to the Production Environment: The Petroleum Superfund was successfully deployed to the PRODUCTION environment on Sept. 17; it includes a new accounting class code for Superfund taxes. Accounting class code 374 was added to list of allowable codes for Drawback. (here).
