Post-Summary Corrections, Updated Deadlines in September ACE Schedule
CBP will be working on a new Automated Commercial Environment enhancement that calls for a safeguard to prevent the use of a post-summary correction to change a non-quota entry to a quota entry, according to the agency's latest National Development & Deployment Schedule for ACE. The target date for the implementation of this enhancement is Sept. 23.
CBP also expects this month to update the Lockbox payment posting logic for overpayments and underpayments of bills. Meanwhile, updates to add an event history section to the liquidation record in the Entry Summary user interface will occur around Oct. 12 instead of an earlier target date of Aug. 17.
The agency also defined October as the target deadline for adding a prompt in ACE Reports to identify the subject company whenever a report is run or scheduled in ACE Reports. The August report said the deadline was TBA.
An enhancement enabling authorized users to unarchive a previous collection for the purpose of making an adjustment, as well as an enhancement enabling authorized users to add a cash receipt number to a collection are also slated to occur in October.
CBP also will add broker account access to PGA documents via the modernized ACE Portal in October.
