UK Settles 7 Cases for Violations of Export Controls, Russia Sanctions

The U.K. customs agency announced seven settlements with companies for their breaches of sanctions on Russia and export controls, including one exceeding $1.3 million with an unnamed exporter and related to the "export of goods in breach of" the sanctions on Russia.

In a separate notice about the other six settlements, which totaled over $1.6 million, the customs agency said the violations pertained to the "breach of license conditions in relation to the export of military goods" and the unlicensed exports of controlled military goods and dual-use goods. The agency didn't name the parties involved.
