UK Corrects Entries Under Russia, Belarus, ISIL Sanctions Lists
The U.K. on Jan. 15 corrected one entry under its Russia sanctions regime, one under its Belarus sanctions regime and two entries its ISIL (Da'esh) and al-Qaida sanctions regime.
The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation changed the listing for Svyatoslav Evgenievich Ostrovsky, member of the VTB Bank Management Board, under the Russian list (to update information about the name spelling), and for Petr Aleksandrovich Orlov, judge of the Minsk City Court, under the Belarus list (to correct information about his age).
Under the ISIL list, OFSI corrected the entries for Said Arif, a member of the Chechan Network, and Mohamad Rafi Bin Udin, senior member of ISIL. Arif's listing was corrected to show that he has reportedly been killed in an airstrike, while Bin Udin's was changed to add a known address in Malaysia.
