DDTC Resolves Customer Service Email Outage

The State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls has resolved an outage that impacted its customer service email address last week, the agency said, adding that it’s processing emails sent during the outage in the order they were received.

DDTC said its DDTCCustomerService@state.gov email address started experiencing issues Nov. 8, impacting users of its Defense Export Control and Compliance System, who weren't “receiving any emails from the system,” including registration renewal and customer service support emails. The agency said it’s now processing emails received during the outage and urged DECCS users to “please refrain from sending duplicate emails to receive support as this will slow down processing times.”
