Trade-Related Court Cases Filed March 6-12

The following lawsuits were filed at the Court of International Trade during the week of March 6-12:

KG Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd., challenging the Commerce Department's final results of the administrative review of the countervailing duty order on corrosion-resistant steel products from South Korea, covering entries in 2020. #23-00055. Filed March 8.

Printing Textiles, LLC, doing business as Berger Textiles, challenging CBP's inaction on protests concerning Canvas Banner Matisse coated fabric imports from China subject to a scope inquiry that the plaintiff believes are not under the scope of the relevant antidumping duty order. #23-00056. Filed March 8.

Travelway Group International Inc., challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming its backpacks classified under Harmonized Tariff Schedule subheading 4202.92.3120 qualify for Section 301 exclusions. #23-00057. Filed March 9.

Nucor Corp., challenging the Commerce Department's final results in the administrative review of the countervailing duty order on corrosion-resistant steel from South Korea, covering entries in 2020. #23-00058. Filed March 9.

Kaptan Demir Celik Endustrisi ve Ticaret A.S., Colakoglu Dis Ticaret A.S. and Colakoglu Metalurji A.S., challenging Commerce's final results of the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Turkey, covering entries in 2020-2021. #23-00059. Filed March 9.

Meijer Distribution, Inc., challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming the agency improperly hit its hand soap entries of Harmonized Tariff Schedule subheading 3401.30.50 with Section 301 tariffs. #23-00061. Filed March 11.
