CPSC Updates Safety Standard for Frame Child Carriers

The Consumer Product Safety Commission released a direct final rule Aug. 31 amending its safety standard for frame child carriers to incorporate the latest revisions to the ASTM voluntary industry standard, it said. The changes are effective Dec. 3, unless CPSC receives a “significant adverse” comment by Oct. 3.
