Trade-Related Court Cases Filed Jan. 31-Feb. 6

The following lawsuits were filed at the Court of International Trade during the week of Jan. 31-Feb. 6:

Dongkuk Steel Mill Co., Ltd., challenging the Commerce Department's final results in the administrative review of the countervailing duty order on cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate from South Korea, covering entries in 2019. #22-00032. Filed Feb. 1.

Appeals of CIT Decisions

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Jan. 31-Feb. 6:

Porsche Motorsports North America, Inc., challenging a December CIT decision that said that auto parts shipped to Canada then reimported do not qualify for duty-free treatment under a goods returned tariff provision for "tools of the trade." #22-1440. Filed Feb. 3.

United States Steel Corporation, challenging a December CIT decision that denied U.S. Steel's bid to intervene in a case over NLMK Pennsylvania's challenge to denied Section 232 exclusion requests. #22-1448. Filed Feb. 4.
