Japan-Uruguay Customs Agreement to Come Into Force Oct. 10

A customs agreement between Japan and Uruguay was set to enter into effect Oct. 10, Japan's Ministry of Finance said Oct. 8. The agreement seeks to harmonize the customs procedures between the two nations and establishes “assistance upon request” and mutual assistance for the two countries' customs teams.
