Recent AD/CVD Scope Ruling Requests

The following new requests for antidumping and countervailing duty scope rulings were recently filed with the Commerce Department:

Narrow Woven Ribbons With Woven Selvedge From China (A-570-952/C-570-953). D&F Consolidated, Inc., DBA Car-Mel Products Inc., seeking a scope ruling that its label and apparel tape is not covered by AD/CV duties. Filed June 16.

Circular Welded Non-Alloy Steel Pipe From Mexico and South Korea (A-201-805, A-580-809). Mando America Corporation, requesting a scope ruling that its mechanical tubing “base shell” products that are produced to ASTM A-513 specification for automotive applications (i.e., shock absorbers) are not subject to AD/CV duties. Filed June 17.
