USTR Grants New Extensions to Section 301 Exclusions, Leaves Others to Expire April 18

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative will grant one-year extensions to eight exclusions from the first list of Section 301 tariffs on China that were due to expire April 18, it said in a pre-publication copy of a notice posted to its website. The exclusions that weren't extended will expire April 18.

USTR in February asked for comments on whether it should extend the exclusions (see 2002040034). The exclusions in question were issued April 18, 2019 (see 1904170038). USTR says the following extensions will now remain in effect for entries on or after July 6, 2018, when the first list of Section 301 tariffs took effect, until April 18, 2021:
