CPSC Updates Safety Standard for Play Yards, Some Baby Cribs

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is issuing a direct final rule amending its safety standard for not-full-size baby cribs and play yards to incorporate the latest revisions to the ASTM voluntary industry standard, it said. The changes are effective Jan. 20, 2020, unless comments opposing the change are received by Nov. 22.
