CPSC Updates Safety Standard for Infant Bath Tubs

The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a direct final rule on Oct. 23 amending its safety standard for infant bath tubs to incorporate the latest revisions to the ASTM voluntary industry standard, it said. The changes are effective Jan. 15, 2019, unless comments opposing the change are received by Nov. 23.
