CPSC Updates Safety Standard for Portable Hook-on Chairs

The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a direct final rule on Sept. 24 amending its safety standard for portable hook-on chairs to incorporate the latest revisions to the ASTM voluntary industry standard, it said. The changes are effective Jan. 15, 2019, unless comments opposing the change are received by Oct. 24.
