CPSC Should Create Trusted Trader Program for Small Importers, Toy Association Says

The Consumer Product Safety Commission should "focus resources" on creating a trusted trader program for smaller importers, The Toy Association said it told the agency ahead of a hearing on the CPSC budget (here). The CPSC should also finalize rules to exempt certain plastics from phthalates testing, the association said. The CPSC's public hearing on its budget priorities for fiscal years 2018 and 2019 is scheduled for July 26 (here).
