CPSC Updates Safety Standard for Toddler Beds

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is amending its children’s product safety regulations for toddler beds to adopt the latest ASTM industry standard, it said (here). Changes include new requirements for corner post extensions and side rails. The interim final rule takes effect June 6, unless “significant adverse comment” is received by March 24.
