CPSC Adopts Changes to Garage Door Opener Safety Standard

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is amending its safety standard for automatic residential garage door openers to adopt changes to entrapment protection provisions in the industry standard published by Underwriters Laboratories. The final rule (here) takes effect May 9.
