CPSC Chairman Tenenbaum Won't Seek Renomination in October

Consumer Product Safety Commission Chairman Inez Tenenbaum will not seek renomination when her term expires in October 2013, said CPSC. According to remarks at the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization annual meeting Feb. 28, Tenenbaum will stay on as chairman until her successor is nominated and confirmed by the Senate. CPSC posted a list of achievements during Tenenbaum’s term as chairman here in conjunction with the announcement.
