AD: Ecuador and China Certain Frozen Warmwater Shrimp

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued its preliminary results of the following antidumping (AD) duty administrative reviews:

(a) preliminary de minimis AD duty rate of 0.00%

1The ITA preliminarily finds that the use of total adverse facts available (AFA) is appropriate with respect to these companies because they withheld requested information and significantly impeded the proceeding.

2The ITA states that because Huading terminated verification and the ITA found reimbursement of AD duties, it is appropriate to assign Huading a rate inclusive of the China-wide entity rate and the reimbursement adjustment. Therefore, the cash deposit rate assigned to Huading for these preliminary results is double that of the China-wide entity.

3The ITA states that the China-wide entity includes, among others, Meizhou Aquatic Products Quick-Frozen Industry Co., Ltd. (Meizhou) and Shantou Red Garden Foodstuff/Shantou Red Garden Food Processing Co. (collectively, Red Garden).

Preliminary Results are Not in Effect and May be Amended

These preliminary results are not in effect and may be amended in the final results of these AD duty administrative reviews, which are currently due within 120 days of March 9, 2007.
