AD: China Tapered Roller Bearings and Parts Thereof, Finished and Unfinished
The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued a notice that amends the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review on tapered roller bearings and parts thereof, finished and unfinished, from China for the period of June 1, 2003 through May 31, 2004.
The ITA states that it is amending the final results in order to correct ministerial errors made in the calculation of the dumping margins for Luoyang Bearing Corporation (Group) (LYC), as follows:

(a) For LYC, the ITA continues to calculate a de minimis rate which is now 0.44% (from 0.18%). No AD cash deposit is required; however, suspension of liquidation will continue.
China-wide rate applies to Shanghai United, Changshan Bearing, and ZCCBC. In addition to amending the AD rate for LYC, the ITA also states that it inadvertently failed to include the following three companies in the final results of its AD administrative review: Shanghai United Bearing Co., Ltd. (Shanghai United), Zhejiang Changshan Bearing (Group) Co., Ltd. (Changshan Bearing), and Zhejiang Changshan Change Bearing Co. (ZCCBC).
Due to the application of adverse facts available, ITA sources state that: (1) Shanghai United will lose its separate AD duty rate of zero and will instead receive the China-wide rate of 60.95%, and (2) Changshan Bearing and ZCCBC will continue to receive the China-wide rate of 60.95%.
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (06/01/03 - 05/31/04)
The ITA states that it will determine, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will assess, AD duties on all appropriate entries based on the amended final results.
