AD: Brazil Small Diameter Seamless Carbon and Alloy Steel Standard, Line, and Pressure Pipe

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued its final results of the antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of small diameter seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from Brazil for the period of August 1, 2003 through July 31, 2004.

AD Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 10/17/05:

(a) For merchandise exported by producers or exporters not covered in this AD duty administrative review but covered in the AD duty investigation, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate from the final AD duty determination;

(b) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review or in the investigation, but the producer is, the cash deposit rate will be that established for the producer of the merchandise for the most recent period; and

(c) If neither the exporter nor the producer is a firm covered in this AD duty administrative review or the AD duty investigation, the cash deposit rate will be 124.94%, the "all others" rate established in the AD duty investigation.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (08/01/03 - 07/31/04)

The ITA states that it will issue assessment instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within 15 days of October 17, 2005. Additionally, the ITA states that it has calculated importer-specific duty assessment rates and will direct CBP to assess duties on all entries of subject merchandise produced by VMB, where the assessment rate is above de minimis.
