CSMS #42431003 - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) : Argentina Beef Export Certificate Hard Reject beginning 5/18/2020

Since November 2019, soft rejects have been issued for Argentina Beef entries that lack the proper export certificates to qualify for in quota duty treatment.

Effective 5/18/2020, filers neglecting to transmit a valid beef certificate number with entries for Argentina (AR) will receive a hard reject.

Please refer to ACE ABI CATAIR License/Certificate/Permit Detail (input 52-Record) for additional information on ABI input requirements.

Background: Regulation 19 CFR 132.15

Beef export certificates are required to obtain in quota rate for Argentina (AR) for the following tariff numbers:
